Movie with waterfall ending scene?

I watched this movie probably in 90's and this movie ends with waterfall scene where a boat with a couple is heading to the waterfall and they do not know about it. Movie ends before they get to the waterfall. The movie starts with this lady with this constant bad luck and troubles and she goes to one South American country and she get hit by a taxi and she forgets everything because of the accident. Her father hires somebody to find her and so forth. Does anyone know the name of this movie???
