Nurse gave me a steroid shot and injection made HUGE air, girgly sound?

I got a steroid shot in the hip 5 days ago, and when the nurse was pushing the last of the injection into my hip thru the syringe, it was a very loud, girgley noise, like the noise when you are emtying an enema in the bowels, or a bottle and squeezing something out a bottle w/ air in it. Should the nurse have let the air out of the syringe before giving me the injection or is that ok? Will i be ok?
