Could 3.0 mg of xanax kill you?
Wow! What a diatribe. First, let's cut to the chase here. You are abusing drugs, big-time. 3 mg of Xanax is WAY too much to take for ANY procedure short of having your fingers amputated with a dull axe and no anesthesia. If the doctor prescribed ONE (1) 0.5 mg pill, then that is EXACTLY what he wants you to take. EXACTLY. If you take more than that, then you are abusing drugs. And what is there about a routine doctor's appointment that gets you so worked up that you have to be sedated just to see a doctor? Frankly, I think that you have several problems going on here, one of them an Orthopedic problem, and one a Psychiatric problem. I think if you REALLY want to be treated effectively and safely, you need to be 100% honest with your doctor, tell him EXACTLY what you have been taking, discuss yur fears with him, and see what he wants to prescribe. If you take more than what he has prescribed, then you're abusing drugs and you're on your own.
